Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications in finance and logistics
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Ability to secure DOE/NIST research grants preferred
