Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security protocols
- Develop error-correction models achieving <10-9 logical error rates
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDK frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in Shor's algorithm and quantum Fourier transforms
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Security clearance eligibility (for government projects)
