Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum circuit reliability
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to integrate quantum computing with AI frameworks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware architectures and software tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped-ion systems
- Published research in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations
