Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead research on quantum supremacy applications for real-world industry challenges
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into functional quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, etc.)
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with demonstrated impact in quantum technology
