Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for near-term quantum processors (2026 roadmap)
- Lead R&D in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop novel applications in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Secure patents and protect intellectual property in emerging quantum domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Published work in quantum computing or high-performance computing (arXiv/IEEE)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and complexity theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical modeling
