Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop advanced quantum error correction codes to enhance qubit stability and coherence
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using superconducting and ion-trap systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical research into practical quantum applications
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Contribute to strategic roadmapping for quantum computing capabilities targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific excellence within the quantum team
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control and calibration systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment with minimal supervision
