Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization challenges

- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into scalable quantum applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Mentor junior researchers and foster quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware calibration
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
