Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum error correction optimization
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and financial modeling
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with scalable quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure federal and private funding through grant proposals and technology demonstrations
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues

- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
