Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Develop patentable quantum simulation tools for pharmaceutical and materials discovery
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of quantum research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and error mitigation techniques
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals or conference proceedings
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware (e.g., Lakeshore, Bluefors)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and complexity theory

- Demonstrated ability to secure government/industry research grants
