Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $500K+ in annual R&D grants through NIH and NSF partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Prototype quantum machine learning pipelines for Fortune 500 clients
- Present findings at Davos, IEEE Quantum Week, and World Economic Forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates eligible)
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum annealing frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and tensor networks
- Track record of translating theory into commercial prototypes
