Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and computational acceleration
- Optimize qubit coherence times in superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Lead research initiatives targeting 2026 quantum advantage milestones
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
