Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing frameworks for 2026-era applications in AI and scientific research
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum algorithm implementation across industries
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Identify emerging quantum technologies and assess commercial viability
- Secure federal and private research funding for quantum initiatives
- Present quantum breakthroughs to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum systems architecture
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience securing $1M+ in research grants or venture funding
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of commercializing quantum technologies
