Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Quantum Infrastructure Architect to lead our engineering team in building the next generation of scalable quantum systems. As we accelerate toward our 2026 deployment targets, you will be at the forefront of bridging classical computing and emerging quantum technologies.
In this high-impact role, you will design the architectural blueprint for our hybrid cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration of quantum processing units (QPUs) with classical backends. You will define the standards that will shape the industry landscape in 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum-classical hybrid systems with a focus on the 2026 roadmap.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Lead the migration strategy from legacy infrastructure to quantum-ready architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and best practices.
- Conduct research into emerging quantum error correction and fault tolerance methods.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud computing, or high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with quantum SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects on time.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
