Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat platforms, forums, and social media channels for compliance with community guidelines
- Identify and address inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations promptly
- Engage with users professionally to resolve conflicts and maintain positive interactions
- Document moderation actions and escalate serious issues to senior moderators
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on platform policies and trends
- Generate weekly reports on community health and moderation activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of moderation, customer service, or community management experience
- Exceptional written communication skills with native-level English proficiency
- Ability to remain calm and objective in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with social media platforms and moderation tools (e.g., ModSquad, Talkwalker)
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Must be available to work evenings/weekends as needed
