Responsibilities
- Moderate Real-Time Conversations: Monitor chat channels, forums, and direct messages to ensure content aligns with community guidelines and safety policies.
- Community Engagement: Proactively engage with users to foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalate conflicts and resolve user disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Policy Enforcement: Identify and address policy violations, including spam, hate speech, and harassment, using established protocols.
- Reporting & Analysis: Compile daily reports on moderation trends, user feedback, and potential platform bugs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content and engineering teams to suggest improvements to chat features and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer service, content moderation, or community management.
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for grammar and tone.
- Typing Speed: Minimum of 40-50 WPM with high accuracy.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in navigating web-based platforms and using CRM or support ticketing tools.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by business needs.
- Location: Must reside within the Columbus, OH metropolitan area (or be willing to commute).
