Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat interactions to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety policies.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Identify and escalate potential policy violations or technical issues to the senior moderation team.
- Maintain accurate records of chat logs and user interactions in the internal database.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by engaging with users and encouraging constructive dialogue.
- Assist in the development and refinement of chat moderation guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of English grammar and spelling.
- Proven experience in customer service, social media moderation, or chat support.
- Fast typing speed (minimum 40 WPM) and accuracy.
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Honolulu, HI.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a patient, friendly demeanor.
