Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms (Discord, Slack, Twitch, etc.)
- Enforce community guidelines with fairness and consistency
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations
- Document moderation actions and provide weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with product teams to improve user experience
- Train new moderators on platform-specific protocols
- Participate in weekly strategy sessions with the community team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of community moderation or customer support experience
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during high-volume interactions
- Familiarity with moderation tools (Discord, Twitch Mod Tools, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition abilities
- Proven ability to work independently in remote settings
- Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
