Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms to enforce community guidelines
- Identify and escalate inappropriate content, harassment, or policy violations according to protocols
- Document moderation actions using proprietary CRM systems with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop improved moderation strategies and tools
- Participate in weekly training sessions on emerging digital trends and moderation best practices
- Generate monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities
- Maintain 98%+ availability during scheduled shifts with minimal downtime
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in content moderation, customer service, or community management
- Exceptional written communication skills with native-level English proficiency
- Proficiency in using moderation tools (e.g., ModTools, Khoros, or similar platforms)
- Ability to make swift, objective decisions under pressure with emotional intelligence
- Strong understanding of social media dynamics and digital communication norms
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Communications preferred
