Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat channels and forums to identify and address inappropriate content, spam, and policy violations.
- Moderate user interactions to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive community atmosphere.
- Enforce community guidelines and platform policies consistently and fairly.
- Escalate complex or high-risk issues to the senior moderation team or law enforcement when necessary.
- Report bugs or technical issues related to the chat interface to the engineering department.
- Engage with users in a friendly, professional manner to foster community growth and loyalty.
- Document daily activities and moderation reports to track trends and policy adherence.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with a strong command of grammar and spelling.
- Experience in customer service, community moderation, or content moderation is highly preferred.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
- Strong typing speed and accuracy (minimum 40 WPM).
- Ability to multitask and switch between multiple chat streams efficiently.
- Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure during peak traffic times.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
