Responsibilities
- Monitor live chat interactions across multiple platforms to enforce community guidelines
- Resolve user disputes and escalate complex issues to senior moderators
- Document moderation actions and generate weekly performance reports
- Collaborate with content teams to identify emerging trends and risks
- Train new moderators on platform-specific protocols and best practices
- Maintain positive community engagement through proactive moderation
- Participate in monthly strategy sessions with the global moderation team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of moderation, customer service, or community management experience
- Exceptional written communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with GSuite, Slack, and moderation tools like ModTools
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- US residency and reliable high-speed internet connection required
- Basic knowledge of digital platforms (Discord, Reddit, Twitch, etc.)
