Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, validate, and cleanse large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to support business strategy.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to understand data requirements and optimize reporting structures.
- Automation: Develop automated scripts or SQL queries to streamline data extraction processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (querying and database management), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Excel: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
