Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL & Coding: Write efficient SQL queries to extract data and utilize Python or R for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Reporting: Develop and present data-driven insights to management and cross-functional teams to support decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify trends and anomalies in data to recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and implement analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and data cleaning techniques.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
