Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality input for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive, visual dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business progress.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, business-friendly insights.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the IT and Operations teams to automate reporting processes and improve data workflow efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and define success metrics for ongoing projects.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL to query databases, optimize queries for performance, and maintain data integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment within the US.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong query writing skills) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Solid understanding of Python or R for data manipulation and scripting is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
