Metro Data Services is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team in Baltimore, MD. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting our data management operations. Responsibilities
- Accurately input, verify, and update customer and company data into our centralized database systems with 99% accuracy.
- Review and proofread data entries for errors, typos, and inconsistencies before final submission.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Transcribe information from various documents, including scanned PDFs and handwritten notes, into digital formats.
- Assist in auditing existing records to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding data backlog and project deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative support (1-2 years preferred).
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM with high accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
