Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain company-provided hardware and software systems for remote employees
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues via remote support tools including TeamViewer and Cisco AnyConnect
- Conduct virtual onboarding sessions for new hires, including equipment setup training
- Monitor and optimize remote network performance using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Document all hardware inventory and maintenance activities in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with vendors to coordinate equipment shipments and replacements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for remote work protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or equipment management with remote work exposure
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications required (Security+ preferred)
- Expertise in Windows 10/11, macOS, and virtualization platforms (VMware/VirtualBox)
- Proficiency with remote desktop protocols and VPN technologies
- Strong diagnostic skills for hardware troubleshooting (PCs, peripherals, networking gear)
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration
