Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain remote IT equipment including routers, modems, and security systems
- Provide remote technical support to clients via phone, chat, and video conferencing
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software issues with minimal supervision
- Document service activities and maintain accurate technical records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges
- Conduct regular equipment updates and security patch implementations
- Train clients on proper equipment usage and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT equipment installation and remote support
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency with network diagnostics tools and remote access software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license for occasional local equipment pickups
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
- Experience with cloud-based ticketing systems preferred
