Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues via chat, phone, and ticketing systems.
- Configure, deploy, and manage company-issued equipment provided to remote employees.
- Monitor system performance and security to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement software updates and patches.
- Document technical solutions and create knowledge base articles to assist other team members.
- Conduct virtual training sessions for employees on new tools and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
- Familiarity with remote connectivity tools (VPN, remote desktop) and virtualization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
