Responsibilities
- Tier 2 & 3 Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral issues for remote employees.
- Equipment Management: Receive, configure, and ship out company-issued equipment (laptops, monitors, peripherals) to new hires and replace failed hardware.
- Remote Access Administration: Manage and maintain VPN connections, remote desktop tools, and security protocols to ensure secure access to corporate resources.
- Incident Management: Log and track all help desk tickets in our CRM system, prioritizing issues based on business impact and SLA requirements.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the deployment of software updates, patches, and security patches to remote endpoints.
- User Training: Conduct remote training sessions and create documentation to help users self-resolve common technical issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support.
- Remote Work Discipline: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay productive in a remote environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
