Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools during overnight hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with global security teams to implement mitigation strategies
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
- Contribute to security policy development and training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or on-call exposure
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools
- Experience with incident response and forensics methodologies
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
