Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across global networks during night shift hours
- Investigate cybersecurity incidents and implement containment protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security vulnerabilities
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security improvement recommendations
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
- Participate in rotating on-call duties for critical incidents
- Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and tools
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with incident response procedures (NIST framework)
