Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents during night shift hours using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations and access control policies
- Collaborate with global teams during security incident response and remediation
- Generate and analyze security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Document security procedures and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT security with night shift or 24/7 operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations
- Experience scripting with Python or Bash for automation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
