Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 remote technical support for enterprise systems during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM CT)
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, system outages, and incident tickets via ticketing systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues including VPN connectivity, cloud services, and network infrastructure
- Collaborate with global IT teams during critical incident escalations
- Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain knowledge base articles
- Contribute to system maintenance windows and scheduled deployments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in remote IT support or system administration
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong diagnostic skills for network connectivity issues and VPN troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
- Must reside in San Antonio metro area for timezone compliance
