Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for enterprise systems during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM MST)
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, incident tickets, and system performance metrics
- Deploy patches, updates, and security configurations across cloud and hybrid infrastructure
- Document incident reports, resolution procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with global IT teams during cross-continental handovers
- Conduct periodic system health checks and vulnerability assessments
- Train junior staff on remote support protocols and cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support experience with night shift or on-call rotations
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proficiency in remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AWS/Azure, and network security protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site equipment retrieval
