Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and chat for enterprise clients during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM EST)
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, system outages, and critical incidents using SIEM platforms
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues with minimal supervision
- Document all interactions, resolutions, and security protocols in ticketing systems
- Collaborate with global IT teams to escalate and resolve critical infrastructure issues
- Conduct routine system maintenance and vulnerability assessments during off-peak hours
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in technical support or IT operations
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during night shift
- Must be located in Virginia Beach, VA area with reliable high-speed internet
