Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical systems during overnight hours, ensuring 99.99% uptime
- Respond to alerts and resolve technical issues with minimal latency
- Collaborate with global teams via Slack, Jira, and virtual stand-ups
- Document incident reports and contribute to knowledge base improvements
- Proactively identify potential system vulnerabilities and implement fixes
- Contribute to automation scripts to streamline night shift workflows
- Participate in monthly cross-functional project sprints
Qualifications
- 3+ years in IT operations, cybersecurity, or related technical field
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis expertise
- Excellent written communication for async collaboration
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM EST)
