Responsibilities
- Monitor System Health: Continuously oversee network performance, server loads, and database integrity during night hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Execute Maintenance: Perform scheduled software updates, security patches, and automated backups when traffic is lowest.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues reported by international teams or automated alert systems.
- Security Audits: Conduct rigorous security checks and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive client data during the quiet window.
- Documentation: Update technical logs and internal knowledge bases with findings and resolutions from the night shift.
- Team Handoff: Communicate critical issues to the day shift team to ensure seamless continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Schedule: Must be willing and able to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical details clearly.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows Server environments, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and network protocols.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
