Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts during night shift hours (11 PM - 7 AM EST)
- Conduct incident triage and mitigation for enterprise-level clients
- Document security incidents in SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel)
- Collaborate with global security teams during critical incidents
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing tasks
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex security infrastructure issues
- Maintain detailed shift handover documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT support with night shift experience
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) and NIST frameworks
- Strong analytical skills for threat hunting and incident response
- Ability to work autonomously in high-pressure situations
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Valid U.S. security clearance preferred
