Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, etc.).
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members to ensure code quality and best practices.
- API Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services seamlessly.
- Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and robustness.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise technical documentation for new features and system architecture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a part-time or contract capacity.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Management: Highly disciplined with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines independently in a remote setting.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
