Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive technical website audits to identify and resolve SEO issues affecting crawlability, indexing, and ranking.
- Optimize site architecture, URL structures, and internal linking strategies to improve site hierarchy and user navigation.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) to ensure optimal page loading speeds and mobile performance.
- Implement and manage structured data (Schema.org) markup to enhance search result visibility.
- Analyze Google Search Console and Google Analytics data to track performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with developers to fix technical bugs and ensure on-page SEO best practices are followed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical SEO, specifically within the US market.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical optimization.
- Proven experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify) and their SEO capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Must be based in New York, NY (or willing to work strictly remote from within the state).
