Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead API modernization projects integrating RESTful and GraphQL endpoints
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Conduct security audits and implement AWS WAF/CloudFront protections
- Drive agile development sprints using JIRA and Confluence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack Java development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong background in microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with financial systems or high-transaction applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to deliver production-ready code in remote environments
