Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices. You will be responsible for designing robust APIs, optimizing existing codebases, and mentoring junior developers to ensure code quality and team cohesion.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify and resolve technical debt and performance bottlenecks within the codebase.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and security.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, along with experience in a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly preferred.
