The Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the architecture and implementation of our next-generation SaaS products. You will have the autonomy to work remotely while contributing to high-impact projects that serve clients nationwide.

Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, robust, and secure web applications using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and other engineers) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge transfer.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in a distributed environment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to the Detroit, MI area.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on writing clean, efficient code.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a remote-first culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
