As a Remote Tech Support Specialist, you will diagnose and resolve technical issues, educate users on best practices, and maintain a positive company image through excellent communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical assistance via phone, email, and remote desktop tools to end-users experiencing hardware or software issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and operating system errors.
- Log all support interactions, resolutions, and system changes into the ticketing system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or third-party vendors when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and internal systems to provide informed support.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk, Technical Support, or Customer Service role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and network troubleshooting concepts.
