Responsibilities
- Resolve Technical Issues: Provide top-tier technical support to customers via phone, email, and live chat to resolve hardware and software problems.
- Customer Communication: Maintain a professional, empathetic, and patient demeanor when interacting with diverse customer bases.
- Ticket Management: Log and track all customer interactions and technical issues in our CRM system to ensure follow-up.
- Product Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity, operating system errors, and peripheral devices.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation and FAQs to improve self-service options for customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to escalate complex issues and provide feedback on product usability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or IT helpdesk roles (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude are considered).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems; basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and tone.
- Reliability: Must have a dedicated workspace and a high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
