Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings into accurate, verbatim text documents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client materials
- Format and edit transcripts according to industry-specific guidelines
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining 99%+ accuracy
- Utilize advanced transcription software and voice recognition tools
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Communicate effectively with project managers for clarification needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Typing speed of 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in medical/legal terminology (specialty certifications preferred)
- Advanced command of English grammar and punctuation rules
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
