Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy across legal, medical, and general business domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (verbatim, verbatim with timestamps)
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize proprietary transcription software and voice recognition tools
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for feedback implementation
- Self-manage workflow to meet tight deadlines across time zones
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (legal/medical preferred)
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, Dragon, or similar transcription software
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and industry terminology
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization required
