Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across legal, medical, and general business domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
- Meet daily/weekly production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize specialized transcription software and editing tools efficiently
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (timestamping, speaker identification)
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Self-manage workflow and communicate proactively about project updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, oTranscribe, or equivalent software
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and medical/legal terminology
- Ability to transcribe diverse accents and challenging audio conditions
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-free home office setup
- Self-discipline and time management for remote work environment
