Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 99%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and general content
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and style sheets for each client
- Meet daily productivity quotas (40+ minutes transcribed per hour)
- Proofread and edit transcripts for clarity, grammar, and consistency
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Utilize digital transcription tools (Express Scribe, Otter.ai) efficiently
- Communicate proactively with project managers for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 80+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Fluency in English with mastery of grammar/punctuation rules
- Ability to decipher accents and technical terminology
- High-speed internet connection and quiet home office setup
