Responsibilities
- Convert audio/video recordings into verbatim written documents with 99%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and style requirements for each client
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Research and verify technical terminology, names, and industry jargon
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedal controls efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
