- Transcribe audio/video recordings with 98%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and corporate domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive patient/client information
- Format documents using style guides and industry-specific terminology standards
- Meet daily/weekly productivity quotas while maintaining quality benchmarks
- Utilize ExpressScribe and other industry-leading transcription software
- Collaborate with editors to resolve unclear audio segments and terminology
- Self-manage workflow with minimal supervision across multiple projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Proven typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98%+ accuracy
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, MS Word, and cloud-based platforms
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and medical/legal terminology
- Reliable high-speed internet and noise-canceling equipment
- Ability to handle complex audio with accents, background noise, and technical jargon
- Flexible availability including evening/weekend shifts for urgent projects
